Registered Nurse (Casual, Call-In; Non-Exempt) 10/12/11

Functions in a Charge Nurse capacity for a 41 to 42 bed unit. Provides direct nursing care to the residents and supervises the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants, in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, regulations for long-term care and policies and procedures of the facility to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  -Current RN State of Hawaii license required.
  -Minimum one (1) yearprior employment experience in long-term care or acute medical surgical nursing preferred.
  -New graduates accepted.
• DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  -Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing preferred.
  -Knowldege of OBRA regulations and guidelines that pertain to long-term care and computer skills desireable.
